Thank you for your reply. It seems the situation in your part of the world is similar to that in Australia! The botanical keys we have here in New South Wales (Australia) are based on the assumption that there are only 3 species known to be in this state, but I suspect there are more. (Recorded species for this area of Australia are C. edulis, C. glaucescens and aequilaterus). As you mentioned, some species seem to intergrade. Perhaps there are also natural hybrids in some areas to confuse us even further. Please let me know if you manage to track down a decent key to all species! Good luck with your research.
