Subject: track workouts

Right. So, yesterday, for some strange reason, I thought that it would be a good idea to do a workout on the track. It has been months (years?) since I have felt the "need for speed" (as they say). I have, after all, fully adjusted to my position as "recreational runner." I thought I would start slow and did 4x400 in around 80-83. Dear lord, do my legs hurt today!! And to think, that used to be an easy workout!
