What is curious is that in none of the articles does it refer to an actual pageant, they refer to a 'ceremony'. So, how many girls were entered and in attendance? Was there a pageant or any sort of competition and where was it held in Montreal? They were interviewing delegates a few weeks ago at a restaurant in Montreal, still looking for delegates a couple weeks before the pageant! Is anyone willing to give the information as to how many girls, how long was the pageant week, what were tehy judged on etc, or did they just give the crown to the only girl to apply? I know the organizers ike to go onto other pageants facebook pages and recruit from there, telling girls that they are the 'real' miss canada and all the others are fake LOL!!! In Canada the pageants and directors get ripped apart but generally the girls are left alone, in the USA the girls are ripped apart unmercifully. There is nothing to misunderstand here. Im certain if you go to each titleholders pageant page, facebook page etc you can see what they have been doing. Chelae is a little busy right now with Miss Universe and all but I believe a couple of the teen canada world girls have been to africa on mission trips, the miss canada international girl ws in india recently on a mission trip, the new girl is national spokesperson for heart and stroke foundation, miss earth canada has her environmental causes....every girl does her own work, its nice that Tara is making the most out of her title, its still pretty crappy of you to try to put her on a pedestal by putting down others. And Miss U C and Miss WC dont do much with thier girls...the girls do stuff on thier own, just like tara is. Again, the organizations are lacking not the delegates, insulting the delegates/titleholders is unacceptable! The girls who DO actively work wth thier titles in SPITE of thier pageant directors are to be commended, and there are only a handful of pageants in Canada nd out of those there are about 3 who actively promote and have their girls do appearances...this does not lessen the quality of the girl, only the quality of the pageant. Not sure about MWC but MUC actually does a lot they do tours in south america and raise a lot of money for sos charity. The pageant actually take not only the winner but a few of the other girls as well. MTCW has sent girls to africa and equador and does lots of stuff bottom line is That pageant is awful, and I have emails from girls, letters for the BBB ( cuz they confused us) and I have been contacted by media who wants to expose the scam umm I laughed so hard go to the website they have the winners of Miss Canada and Teen Canada from the 1950's claiming its the same pageant. Sorry That pageant is not good. I am not bashing the girl at all what she is doing is great. In my opinion Miss Canada is Chelsae the girl that goes to MU that is what Canada thinks and that is the reality. I support other pageants refer girls even coach them, The only title holder I have ever bashed what Shannon former Galaxy winner becuz she was making up stuff and tyring to be a director and still wearing a sash claiming to be Miss Canada. It is very frustrating for those who work in the industry and pour their heart and sole into it because we believe in what pageantry can do for young women. Then to have bad organizations come into the industry and destroy these girls hopes and dreams and essentially steal their money. It is important that people continue to share their feelings and experiences about these organizations as this is the only way to see them removed form the industry. People are only trying to warn girls about these pageants to prevent dashed dreams, hurt feelings and bad experiences.
