Dear Zinger; While I can understand your frustration over the negativity that can go on in this board, you need to understand where this negativity comes from. It is very frustrating for those who work in the industry and pour their heart and sole into it because we believe in what pageantry can do for young women. Then to have bad organizations come into the industry and destroy these girls hopes and dreams and essentially steal their money. It is important that people continue to share their feelings and experiences about these organizations as this is the only way to see them removed form the industry. People are only trying to warn girls about these pageants to prevent dashed dreams, hurt feelings and bad experiences. This forum seems to be the only place that people can express these opinions, so sadly sometimes it appears negative. However I can say that this board is thousand times more supportive of titleholders then it was many years ago. Now the board sticks to bashing facts, which I appreciate. It is my strong hope that more quality pageants will be produced in Canada and those of poor quality are weeded out. Once this happens there will be less negativity.
