Subject: Dear Zinger who ever you may be... I have never bashed a title holder. Not even title holders of pageants I dislike. I also post very little about MTCW I dont need to write stuff about us our competition speaks for itself and the number of delegates we get does as well. I support other pageants refer girls even coach them, The only title holder I have ever bashed what Shannon former Galaxy winner becuz she was making up stuff and tyring to be a director and still wearing a sash claiming to be Miss Canada. At least give me credit I use my own name and everyone knows who I am I dont hide behind a handle. I am not afraid to express my thoughts and really I am only trying to protect girls I guess having been a contestant I can relate. I get calls from parents, from Media etc all the time about other pageants. People Google Miss Teen Canada... and find my number and call because they can not get a hold of the pageant director so they get frantic and start calling every number.. the stories I hear. But I keep many to myself. I keep a file in case it is ever needed. I get emails too. To say that a pageant is a poor production, when it really is...that is not bad. Go to the other boards they are BRUTAL they bash the girls call them ugly fat - you name it they are mean this board is nothing compared to other boards. They are not even moderated Anyhow, Zinger who ever you are I really wish everyone would come out of the closet what are ppl scared of? I always post as Michelle when its a opinion and MTCW when its business related. Anyhow, I think what Tara has done is great..there are some title holders who have done amazing things. Nazarin Miss World Canada, Marianna MUC, and some girls dont do much it depends on the girl. Personally I just hate these awful directors that prey on girls dreams and tell them lies etc and I will continue to express my opinion about these unethical people. Subject Author Date Dear Zinger; While I can understand your frustration over the negativity that can go on in this board, you need to understand where this negativity comes from. It is very frustrating for those who work in the industry and pour their heart and sole into it because we believe in what pageantry can do for young women. Then to have bad organizations come into the industry and destroy these girls hopes and dreams and essentially steal their money. It is important that people continue to share their feelings and experiences about these organizations as this is the only way to see them removed form the industry. People are only trying to warn girls about these pageants to prevent dashed dreams, hurt feelings and bad experiences. Contestants should not be treated like garbage or employees… They are guests, you should be given a positive life changing experience when they compete. Click In Lisa H 16:32:53 08/26/11 Fri
