Howdy Jim McCulloch do you mean the 71 to 105 ounces to be from one "patch" or an accumulation of a series of smaller ones. Also, since you are sharp on mineralization I will assume the patch(s) of this magnetude to be residual and most likely a quartz vein within a granodiorite??? or if in andesite (with visible feldspar--- a "porphyry") were there any small crystals of quartz? Did you notice the presence of iron oxides or manganese oxide?

Not prying, but trying to start a thread. Do not give any "secret patch" away. I have found the presence of small crystals of quartz and iron cubes to be an "indicator." However, each mining district(s) are/is unique.
