Hi Guys,

Well, one comparison we can make right now... the X5 is about $200 more than the MXT.

Now, I'm not knocking the X5. Frankly, I'm into the lightweight, minimalist design. Never had much use for meters myself, as I've spent to many years hunting by ear.

But I do think it is fair to say that the MXT has a bit of a "bang-for-the-buck" edge. It's a lot of detector for a suggested retail of $799

I've used the MXT a bit, and look forward to using an X5 in a couple weeks. Both look to be among the better machines released in some time.
