Subject: X-5 In Arizona

Hi Bill,

When Troy was camped out in Arizona during the last tweaking and testing phase of the X-5, most all of their testing was done there.... mostly around the Prescott area I believe, but other areas as well. Considering the frequency of just under 20kHz, it should handle harsh ground better than the GB-2 and something more in line with the GB-1. With so many inconsistencies from place to place in Arizona, about the only way to know if it will handle a particular area is to try it out. I've heard some very favorable comments about the X-5 in red clay environments (Troy did some testing in this stuff also), but haven't tried anything that extreme yet myself.

Ralph
