Hi Steve, As an owner of the Goldbug 2 for the last 5 years and many hundreds of nuggets with it, I had the opportunity to use a Goldstrike. I spent several hours hunting an old hydraulic pit in Redding CA and was very disappointed with the way it works. A local hunter (also a GB2 owner) showed up and I let him try it too. Bottom line, we will keep our GB2's and wait for the real GB3 to step out from behind the curtain. As for auto ground balance VLF machines, I will stick with my Minelab Golden Hawk. Good Hunting.
