Hey--

The last time I went to a Reno Gold Show I never made it. Got to jawing with old friends. I lived in area from 1948 through 1954 and wife from Reno. Met her in the hall at the Mackay School of Mines as she was taking a geography class there-- this was in the Fall of 1953. Gold comes in different forms and I was able to convince her to marry me in August, 1954. Then great-grand daughter, Bella, was born on Sunday September, 8th. The same day I found a nice nugget in western Nevada.

I was back there just a couple of years ago taking an "alumni" class. Also know of several spots where I would be nuggetshooting. If you read my "ADVANCED---" Maury Lewis certainly didn't find it all

I hope to go to Primm however, my goal is to show the young whippersnappers that old Jim at the young age of only 73 will still be able to how to get out and show the youngsters how to swing their detector at the AMDS hunt. That is if my left knee doesn't act up, not to mention my back.
