Subject: yea, i spent some money this weekend

after a few air tests, comparisons, and reading of specs, i talked my self RIGHT INTO a new "Shadow X5".............
in disc, with default sensitivity i air tested it with an 11.93 gram nugget, and picked it up at 16"............
the GMT only got it @ 9" and the Gold Striker a little less..........

I then added a rusty square nail into the test, and it lost about 4" of depth, but still rang true and clear, with the nugget behind the nail (i had the nugget and nail touching), i decreased disc slightly from factory and gained about 2" back.

Its VERY lightweight, and INCREDIBLY sensitive and has very nice depth on 2 and 3 grain nuggets...........

They wont be delivered until August 1st, but Troy has done a fantastic job on the new Shadow IMO..............
