Howdy RD, you are up late or early? Being waterproof a good option. This means the unit is also sealed against alkali dust. Incidentally, I had a cataract removed from my right eye last Thursday morning; in at 8:00 and out by Noon. It was a lens implant--- WOW, what a difference. From being nearly blind in right eye, to not needing corrective lens.

Unfortunately, Kaiser stalled me on this for several years. I voluntarily quit driving at night about a year ago as I couldn't see at night. My left eye also needs surgery, but not as bad. They may decide to do it also. However, with my one eye I can now see road at night and also the surrounding areas off to the roadside and read the sign posts.
