Jim,

Glad to hear your surgery went well. I wanted to see the pic of the new Garrett but can't get it to download. Just get the box with a red X where picture is suppose to be. Will keep trying. Want to see what all this PI hub-bub is about.

Met up with Randy on Sat at Sand Gulch. He didn't get there until around 10:30 and didn't stay where we were at for too long. He had to meet up with some relatives on the KGB around 11:00.

Another friend of mine from work came out for a while and I showed him the GMT and my drywasher. We did a little detecting in the wash just up the draw from Goler Canyon. Found some small square nails (look hand made - good indicator of old activity) but no gold. A lot of black sand though. Did a little drywashing, testing along the gravel banks in the wash. Found a little really tiny flour gold in the black sand but had to keep the day job this week, ha.
