Hi Ralph,

Not to knock Jimmy's coils, but I want one even smaller. Not just for extra sensitivity, but to get into small holes and other tight areas. The 9" length of the Hot Foot is still a bit tough to get into certain spots.

I have a prototype coil the same size as the Gold Bug 6" elliptical. It approximates the Gold Bug 2's performance on small gold with it's small coil. I refuse to give it back! There is also a prototype floating around based on the Blue max 350 4" round coil. The original Gold Bug had a little 4" round coil at one time, and it was great. In fact, if anyone has one I'll buy it.

Anyone out there reading this with a Goldmaster II, V/SAT, 3, 4/B, or GMT - email Steve Houston at shouston@whiteselectronics.com and let him know if you would like to see a small Goldmaster coil, preferably a 3x6 elliptical. Steve is the Customer Service Representative for White's and an avid nugget hunter. He would like to help us out, but needs emails to take to marketing as proof. I've made this post on numerous forums over the last couple months, and response has been pretty good. You guys want to lend your voices and see if it can be made to happen?

Steve Herschbach
