Hi Al! I guess I had beginners luck. The very first time I went nugget hunting I found two nuggets. The first was in a pile thrown out of a dig hole and the second was in a dry-washer's header pile. I was using an old Garrett Deep Seeker and it was in the early 80's west of Quartzite, Arizona. Since then I have had long periods of finding pockets full of bullets and trash and no nuggets. Then I'll get lucky again and find gold! Go figure!
