Dont worry about numbers being low at States. My opinion if parents want to spend their money to let their child dance at Worlds that's their business. Years ago very few travelled to compete at Worlds but nowadays the standard in Australia has risen so we have dancers winning World Globes, World Medals Recalls so let Irish Dance live on in Australia.
