Subject: I don’t get the problem with promotion on social media, usually the ones who complain don’t have the results to promote so it’s a jealousy thing. Judges are not goi g to be scrolling through posts if they want to pull favours they will just message the TC the way they always have. Nothing there has changed.
In reply to: K 's message, "The amount of dancer promotion the past few weeks has been insane. I know it happens every year but this year it feels like it’s increased so much. So many schools posting photos of their dancers from the AIO…. Which was months ago….. to promote their dancers. Why not post the photos as soon as the AIO finished rather than a couple weeks out from nationals. I am all for celebrating dancer achievements, but don’t use those photos as promotion. Trophy hungry schools" on Mon, Sep 18 2023, 14:02:22"

  • I don't see an issue with social media posts, I'd rather that than teachers who encourage dancing agressively on stage with poor stage etiquette, as witnessed last weekend at QLD feis. One school in particular smiling assasins, big smiles but nearly knock you off the stage when dancing. Get yourself a good dentist if on stage with them cos they're likely to knock your teeth out! I hope next time adjudicators ring the bell or mark them down for their behaviour. Plenty room on stage for two dancers, no need for the bullying strategy. (NT) -- DM, Thu, Sep 21 2023, 10:37:42"
