Author: The fitness is great, but the average family can not keep up.
Subject: It’s just so expensive. Thousands of dollars a year to keep up with the lessons, the look and the travel is just too much for families.
In reply to: Why are the branches acting like nothing’s happening? Am I missing something? Are they actually taking action or ‘blissfully ignorant’? 's message, "Can’t believe the incredibly low numbers at the Vic Solo Champs so far. Get that older kids drop off with school exams, etc. but even past those ages you’d be lucky to get 4 dancers now. So sad the affect of everything going on seems to be more obvious, especially for our dancers.. dropping like flies :(" on Sat, Aug 24 2024, 22:27:18"

  • Yes unfortunately the cost for most families is just to high. It has become just for the rich. Would like my granddaughter to dance but thete is no way they could afford it.e (NT) -- Sad it has come to this, Sun, Aug 25 2024, 13:38:12"
  • I agree, my grand children will unfortunately not be doing Irish dance either. For us it's the cheating. It's too expensive a hobby to just do for fun if the kids won't be judged honestly. (NT) -- -, Mon, Aug 26 2024, 13:31:58"
