+S'mer waited by the Lake, watching as the weyrlings filed out with their things. ((A'lia, M'ron and S'las need to reply to the other post before this one please.)) He grinned and gestured, wading out into the lake with the bronze as he spoke over the soft chatter of the students.+

"Have your dragon wade in until you are about waist deep in the water. Leave your oil up on the beach with the towels that I brought out for all of you."

+He pointed to the heap of cloth on the sand before continuing+

"You need to wash them everywhere, bellies included, but start from the head and neck and move along your dragon's back. After your finished scrubbing that, instruct them to roll onto one side in the water, then the other. Do the wings and tail last, then they can go under the water or you can use one of the pails to wash them off. Now everyone needs to do this and dry your dragons off after you're done. Then we'll move on to oiling them."
