Me: Yeah I guess that too. But still I love her. I mean damn that's the mother of my first and only child.
Lami: Mmhmm...come to think of it. Was that other child your's?
Me: Oh the one Shantesha said was mine? We had a paternity test done even though she didn't want it done. I knew somethin was up. The baby wasn't even my son.
Lami: Close one huh?
Me: Yeah but had it turned out to be my son...I would've told Chelle. I just wanted to make sure if he was mine or not.
Lami: Smart thing. Cuz if you would've told Chelle before you knew and he turned out not to be. You know Chelle wouldn't trust yo ass no mo.
Me: I know that's why I made sure to do that. I ain't that stupid Lami.
Lami: Uh huh. I see...but what are you gonna do with Chelle?
Me: I don't know yet. But I know I wanna stay with her and at least try to make things work.
Lami: Well you better think of something quick man. Word on the street is that that nigga Haze is sweet on yo's man.
Me: Awww hell naw. Does he not know tha's mine or somethin?
Lami: From what I hear...he knows. But he says you ain't treatin her ri and he can treat her like the queen she was meant to be.
Me: Hell naw. I wonder if Chelle knows him.
Lami: She knows him. I mean damn Nel everybody knows him...she just don't know this yet.
Me: Aiight well don't tell Clara cuz if you do she'll tell Chelle. And then she'll get some ideas in her head. You know how her ass be thinkin.
Lami: Aiight man.
Me: Well lemme go get somethin to eat since I ain't ate yet.
Lami: Aiight man. Hit me up lata.
Me: Yeah and you find out what you gonna do wit Clara since you still cheatin on her wit them tramps.[laughs]
Lami: Whateva. One.
Me: One.


Chelle [telling her side]

I ran a few errands before I actually went back home. I went to the store and saw this guy that's always speaking to me. I couldn't think of his name. It was his nickname and it wasn't really a name. Damn what is his name. Oh well I'll think of it sooner or later.

Guy: Hey Chelle.
Me: Hi.
Guy: How are you?
Me: I'm hangin in there. I can't complain. And yourself?
Guy: I'm doin aiight. Where's yo baby girl at, how's she doin?
Me: She's at school right now, she's doin aiight.
Guy: How old is she now?
Me: She's 5, she'll be 6 on July 4th.
Guy: Are you having a party or something for her?
Me: Yeah...her aunts and I are trying to plain it now. But it's kind of hard with them since they don't have any children yet.
Guy: Well if you need any help with anything [takes out a card] give me a call at my office. Maybe I could help...I have a lil girl of my own.
Me:[I took the card] I didn't know that you had a daughter...how old is she?
Guy: Oh she's 2...her name is Daw’shaiya Amari.
Me: That's a cute name. I never knew you had a daughter. Does she ever come over here?
Guy: Yeah well me and her mother are going through somethings to where I have to try and get custody of her. Not really her mother is trippin'.
Me: Oh...I hope me and Nelly never have to go through that if we ever break up. Good luck with it.
Guy: Thanks a lot.
Me: No prob.
Guy: Well I have to get back to the office. Time is money and money is time. But I'm serious hit me up wheneva you need help with the party.
Me: Ok...thanx. Bye.
Guy: Bye. [he got into his '02 model white Escalade and drove off.]

I looked at the card he gave me to see what his name was. Antoine "Haze" Gaines. That's what his name was Antoine!!! Everyone called him Haze. Anywayz he worked at a record label in fact they were Nelly's rivals. Oh lawd what is I gonna do now?[lol] If Nelly sees this he'll probably think something was up. Oh well.

I didn't wanna go home right away so I just drove around. Then when I did decide to go back home it was 10:18 and Nelly was still there. That was a huge shock to me. So I just went in the den to watch TV and he came in there eating a big bowl of cereal.

Nelly- what's up?
Me- (coldly) nuthin
Nelly- what's yo problem?
Me- you already know my problem
Nelly- man Chelle I can't help it I had business to take care if you still mad cuz I left
Me- you dayum skippy! what would you do if I up and left in the middle of the night and didn't come back to the next morning?
Nelly- (stuttering) I'd uh I I I I'd......
Me- you'd be pissed right? So how do you think I feel?
Nelly- Look I'm sorry aiight? But this deal was $2.5 million. If I passed it up I would've been a fool.
Me: What type of deal?
Nelly: I just signed a group called "Fantasie". They're a young group of girls so I'm gonna need your help with getting them poised and polished. I want you to be co-manager. That way someone is already there if I can't be...what you say?
Me: I don't know Nelly. I mean what about our daughter?
Nelly: Girl I won't book them for things on the same days as Shai Shai. And I'll be sure to make sure we have time with Shai Shai too. And when Shai Shai starts kindergarten we can have Lami 'nem lookin after her if we need to go on tour. But more than likely I want her to come with us so I'll know what's goin on with her.

Should I do this? I mean this would give me a chance to see what he actually does on tours. And how many girls he turns down for me. Plus he wants me to. I haven't seen him this excited about us doing something since I had Shai. And he wants Shai to some with us that way we can be a family...I think I will.

Nelly: So?????
Me: Yes Nelly. I'll do it.
Nelly: Aiight then.
Me: Why did it happen so late though?
Nelly: They were doing some negotiations with Roger all night. When they finally finished it was 2:30...that's where I went last night. Baby I would never cheat on you ok? I love you too much for that.
Me: I love you too but still when you up and leave with no explantions I think you are.
Nelly: Well I'm telling you here and now I'm not cheating on you. Baby I love you and my baby girl too much to want to do anything to break us up as a family.
Me: Ok.
Nelly: Ok. [he kissed me]

When he leaned in and kissed me it took me be surprise. I mean the last time he kissed me liked that was the night that we believe Shai was conceieved. But I'm not complaining as long as he's here with me and not with some otha chick.

As he kissed me he rubbed my chest. He then kissed and licked me on my neck. He started to undress me but stopped and carried me to our bedroom. He undressed me and explored my entire body. Something he hadn't done in a long ass time too. When he felt like it was time he undressed himself and kissed and licked me up my body. He then got on top of me and slid inside me gently. I held him tight as I moaned in his ear. He rocked in and out of me for hours on end. But when he came he came with a bang with me calling his name. After he caught his breathe he kissed my entire body and laid next to me. He held me in his arms and kissed my forehead. I feel asleep and he wispered in my ear "I love you, Chelle...you're my only love." I smiled and he held me tighter.

Me: I love you too Nelly...my one and only love.
Nelly: You weren't sleep?
Me: I was half sleep but I still heard you. Just thought I'd respond to you. Or did you want me to stay sleep?
Nelly: Either way it wouldn't matter. I know how much you love me just like you know how much I love you.
Me:[I set the alarm clock] Gotta make sure I wake up in time to pick Shai up.
Nelly: Just sleep baby, you need it.
Me:[closing my eyes] Okay....

We both feel asleep after that. I set the alarm clock for 5 o'clock since Shai went to an after school program. When I did wake up it was 5:30 and Nelly was gone. I got up to throw some clothes on but there was a note on my night stand.


Baby,
I know I should've told you I was leaving but I didn't want to be late. And don't bother throwing any clothes on to pick up Shai...I've already left to go and get her.

Awwwww he went to go get my baby, I thought to myself. And he did it with a little note too...I love him.
