yeah. that raid at the bar was probably staged, especially considering how convieniently we all managed to get out unseen. hell, if Jimmy could arrange to have those people on the dance floor move like that...i don't think a simple police raid would have ever been a threat.

Chris, you recieved a real-true-to-life death threat?!? fuck! from who? when? where? did you tell us this before?? if so, i must have lost that information in the shuffle.

on the issue of propaganda....that's all we've recieved about either side, true. it's probably all we are going to recieve for a while, even if we join a side. how can we hear what the technocracy has to say? Joe and his organization approached US.

as for practice. Rob, from what I recall hearing Dawn spoke to a spirit...she didn't spontaniusly cross-over. But in any case. It's dangerous for us to practice AND it's dangerous for us not to practice. We can't practice at home because it places us in danger....How about a semi-public place that is infrequently used but not abandoned? There is one of those amphitheater half-shell in Prospect Park. On the weekends it is packed, but on say a Tuesday afternoon? Ghosttown. It's far from the trees and road so there isn't much chance for colateral damage. But, it is within screaming distance of a major road. Jess, while the artist's studio you've suggested sounds great...there is one issue. If somehting, god forbid, did happen it would immediately get traced back to us. Traditions, Technocracy, Whatever, that's just not good. Plus it costs money and takes time to arrange. What do you say we just meet up at the half-shell next Tuesday at like 1pm? That's before school gets out, so there shouldn't be a wealth of children in the park. We can just hang out for a couple hours and *try stuff*. If anything bad happens, i think the locale is that delightful mixture of public and private that should have the least number of repurcusions for anyone. It's also getting nice out, so worst case senerio we can just enjoy the springtime and work towards repairing our sanities.

any takers? I know it would throw a kink in everyone's schedule, but we have to start somewhere. I'm prepared to cut class. [OOC: No, I don't seriously think we should actually go to the park...though it is nice out. We could just email it to Joe and Jesse if anyone is interested. I'd say thsi would occur like a week after The Long Sleep incident]
