A couple thoughts on magic. (Athough I realized that even calling it that is propagandistic, and lumps us in with parties we have not all agreed to side with yet.) Firstly, To the best of my undestanding, the first steps towards *doing* anything requires *seeing* it. Which means that before we can start to shape the world around us, we have to learn to see past the way we have been brought to understand it. Unfortunately, this step will likely take a good deal of time. Fortunately, until we get any futher than the sensory phase, our magic (magick?) is almost risk-free, at least according to what Joe and the book claim. I've certainly had no problems yet. Moreover, I have to imagine that it's almost undetectable, since it doesn't really "push" reality at all. So, I personally do not intend to stop exploring. I don't know if I could if I wanted to. Oh, and to clear things up, I don't think I've figured out "Mind" yet, athough I've tried. I think the auras I'm seeing/drawing are evidence of Prime, or quintessence. What Richard described of his experiences a few weeks ago may be an early stage of Correspondance, like Joe thought, or it may be Entropy. Or it may have just been a freak coincidence. Which it is, or whether there even is a difference between them will remain to be seen. You all should keep in mind, however that while the descriptions of the spheres, their powers, and definitions may serve as good inspiration for what we may be capable of, the entire system was invented to *describe* what we do, and it is an imperfect system at best. We shouldn't let the idea of "spheres" limit our thinking.
