Definitions of honor are always really tough - that's why people have been pondering this stuff for hundreds of years. :)

A good start is not to do anything to anyone else that you wouldn't want them to do to you. It's not a perfect definition, because it's only a passive definition. In other words, it doesn't ever ask you to do anything - just avoid things that seem bad. On the other hand, the "positive" definition (do unto others as you'd have them do unto you) isn't very good either, because that assumes that what's good for you is good for everyone else ... and generally it's not. Everyone has different needs; the first version is more about not doing things to maliciously harm others, not thinking that you know what's best for them.

Looking for ways you can help other people is good, too - but then you get into questions of loyalty. The rule I use for myself is I help my friends first, then other people. That way if someone needs my help, but it would hurt my friends to do it, I already have a rule to define what I do.

I hope you don't mind the discussion of philosophy - I definitely try to come up with ethical guidelines for my own day-to-day behavior that I'm constantly having to rethink, so I've thought about this a fair bit. :)

I'm glad you're friends with Chris (and me!) - but I have to say I'm curious. How did you find Chris? What made you decide to get to know him?

Wow. That's pretty amazing! If you were wondering - yes, that is powerful. :) Congratulations!

That's really interesting. If you can't find anything in your code, I'm sure that Chris or I could take a look at it - though I can't make promises, I'm sure it's really complicated. ;)

Do you know what text you just don't read?

Hello friend Eduna. :)

Because the visual conventions of anime are deliberately infantilizing - especially for female characters. Big head, big eyes, small mouth - all characteristics of a human child. You're smart and definitely a lot more sophisticated than a child - therefore you deserve a more adult picture.

Of course, that might not be what Chris meant, but that's my thoughts. :)
