This is intriguing. The belief in a god could create such a being? But the god I have created, the faith which I've adopted is equivalent to calling every man a god. I am a god in my own way. But we may lose this divinity through betraying our ego. As life progresses we all turn away from individuality at one point or another. Salvation to me would consist of a return to pride and self-improvement.
Indeed, your theory is quite interesting. I will consider writing a religious interpretation of my beliefs, and at some point I hope to speak to Glapoes and yourself about the source of power.
I still hold the distinct belief that the deity I may have created is not a supernatural being and simply the divinity found in man's spirit and conciousness. If I believe strongly enough in this, could that lead to an actual change?
You speak of defining the gods through our faith and belief. If I renounced my faith in the individual to pursue the path of the humble and self-sacrificing, would individuality of *all* men suffer? If I die from the poison currently in my veins, is there hope for freedom, tolerance, and independance? Or is the world in a downward spiral with the death of a philosopher? Or as you said it.. scientist?
