Hi Barb...
My appoligies for not posting back sooner, there was some family needs that had to be taken care of. I don't know how much advice I can give you on this, many factors can contribute to the dislocations...for example height, weight, laxity, level of activeness. Right now I am not sure what doctors are taking on new patients now in Manitoba but there is a number you can call to find out what doctors/if any are accepting new patients. The phone number is (204) 786 - 7111. Another option may be consulting with an occupational therapist or a physio therapist as they may be able to suggest different ways of doing things and some possilbe preventative bracing methods.
