a nutritionist gave me a few tips...

1) make sure you spread your protein intake out through the whole day, including breakfast. She said people are often bingey because they are low on protein.

2) If you are not actually hungry, like if you ate 2 hours ago and you know it is mostly mental, then she suggested drinking a glass of water, which will help you feel full, and then walking briskly for 5 minutes. A quick burst like that will raise your heart beat and get the hormones going. should cut the cravings.

My experience after that is, if I still really want it, better to eat it, then eat healthy and the add the thing I craved on later.

Of course, this doesn't get at why I crave it, emotional triggers, etc...
