Have you check out the link regarding Newt Gingrich's Reading Plan? It is a very interesting article. I printed out a copy, so my dh could read it. He believes children should be rewarded for good grades. That is how he was brought up--no wonder there isn't a creative bone in his body! LOL Anyway, even dh thought it was an interesting article. The reward, the article states, should be getting an A or B on your report card. The reward should be reading a good book and enjoying that book, in the case of AR. Read the article, if you haven't.
