Subject: Recap

One of the things we find fascinating is that by simply asking questions, either the PTA or school is taking it personally. Just think, asking for the amount accrued from Escrip or how much was spent on the Spring Carnival this year generated such defensiveness... when such information should be readily available to anyone who asks. We're asking, but thus far have been unsuccessful in attempts to get answers. Yet, the PTA can post events here and are aware that these questions have been posted... and still no answers. Does that send up a warning to anyone?

To date, there has been one email from Mrs. Leibowitz to answer the P.E. issues posed by this message board. It was informative and we are anxiously awaiting her next one in reply to the Library issues.

Frankly, there is no difference from sending in one of those comment slips in the Beatty Broadcast and posting a message here. On that comment slip, there is a space for Name (Optional) in case you'd like to be anonymous. Here, the posts are, for the most part, anonymous. If you send in a comment to the school district itself, it can be anonymous and you can get an answer through email.

If it's good enough for the school district...
