She enjoyed trying to lift Leica's spirits, but here was this Rune guy to ruin the fun. She studied him carefully while he was not looking. He was fairly attractive, but probably the kind of person that Leica would like. Glancing at her cousin, she found that this assumption was right on the mark, and Leica looked to be in a daze. So much so that she didn't seem to be listening to a word he was saying, even. Thea sighed to herself, but then thought that this may be a good preoccupation for her cousin. In fact, she thought, a guy may be just what she needs. Rune turned his eyes toward her, those glinting eyes, and Thea felt an unvoluntary shiver work its way up her spine. She suppressed it quickly, then looked at Rune's now outstreched hand. She ignored it, getting up on her own, brushing herself off, trying to regain some dignity. She stared into the guy's eyes, the look on his face unreadable. Leica came back with Rune's white wine. Thea almost smiled when she saw that Leica was blushing a rosy shade of crimson, and almost laughed when Leica's attempt to hand Rune the glass with shaking hands ended in wine and broken shards all over the floor.
