As soon as Ashur opened the door one of his most trusted royal guards came running down the road, "The queen," he said as he gasped for air,"attack...castle....queen.""Slow down my friend, get your breath,"Ashur responded. He realized the seriousness of the situation when he looked to the castle to see what looked as a guard tower on fire. He said, "Stay here you have done what you can, but please take these inside and give them to the barkeep, and tell that lady at the table that I,the guardsman, am at the castle when ever she finishes there.""But...which one...,"the guard asked still gasping for air."She will know I am talking to her,"Ashur yelled as he commandeered a horse and rode toward the castle. Ashur arrived at the castle to see a small band of thieves guarding the gates, still partially covered with dead bodies. The thieves drew their weapons, just slow enough, Ashur was able to take down three of them before any resistant was given. Upon entering the castle Ashur noticed that there were no guardsmen present anywhere."odd..,"Ashur said as he was hit over the back of the head with a segment of wood. Ashur awoke to see he was tied to a pole and the queen in a similar predicament on a pole opposite him."I appologize,"Ashur said trying not to show his pain."For what?"the queen responded. "For not being here, for not bowing in your presence." "I highly doubt this is your fault,"she said almost jokingly. "How do you come to this conclusion?"he asked."You were in town on business, and you could not get inside...Watch Out!!"she yelled as he was yet again hit in the back of the head and knock out...
