I'm new to this forum, and I don't want to sound rude, seeing all questions are answered in the forum or homepage. As you allready assessed correctly you will be traveling during the monsoon (November-March)I don't think anyone can forsee the weather 9 Months ahead. I guess the sand will still be white; even during the rainy-season.

Went Feb 2004 .. had a great time snorkling and was lucky with the weather. A few showers but sunny mainly.
Beware that the sea near the resort bay is leathal at that time and the red flags are there for a reason.
However, the other side of the island where the marine park is completely calm and nice.
