My cat has an eye infection and i took him to the vet last tuesday. The vet gave him Neobacimyx-h for it.They also found a yeast infection in his ear. for that they gave Tresaderm. My question is can either of these meds cause him to sneeze constantly?? Like a allergic reaction of some sort?? Before i took him in he wasn't sneezing at all now it seems to be getting worse.His eye remains shut all the time now and the other one seems to be weeping.

I have an 8 month old Jack Russel. She came into heat for the first time about 4 weeks ago now. about 2weeks into it she just stopped bleeding, but now her teats are still huge and seem to be getting milk in them. We also have a male Yorkie-Poo and they stay together all the time. I tried to keep her covered up but somehow they always got her little diaper off. Everytime I would catch them they hadn't done anything yet, but there still may be a chance that I wasn't always quick enough. This is the 1st time I have ever owned a female dog and I don't really know if she is pregnant or not. Please Help!!!!!

I really need to know what the signs of a Shih Tzu's pragnency! My dogs teats are bigj and her stomach seems to be flabby (it hangs down!). But thats only her skin on her stomach if you feel her stomach you can notice that it seems the same as always! I was also wondering how long it takes for a Shih Tzu to have babies?

My cat suddenly has stopped eating. She ususally loves the type of food I am feeding her. She just does not touch it. I go back and forth between two types of foods. Should I feed her the same type all the time instead? Is this a symptom of tape-worm? Her breath smells like dead fish but we never feed her fish. Does anyone know why?

I have a 3 year old yellow lab. His coat has just recently become bumpy. It always laid flat but now from about the withers down he has small bumps under his hair. We are not sure what is causing it. Any suggestions. Could he be allergic to his food. It been that way for a couple of days and hasn't got any worse.

My female Jack Russell is possibly pregnant. Is she is she is 2 weeks. Today she started throwing up a little and now she just lays around and don't want to be bothered. She's not acting like herself at all. When she does get up and moves around she has her stubby tail tucked. Normally its wagging all the time. Hello,

I have a 3 1/2 year old yellow lab named Jax. He has always seemed to have a seasonal allergy problem, however, this year the problem lasted from spring until now. We had him on predizone up until Sept but substituted it for Chlorotripilon due to some things we had heard about excessive use of predizone. Things continued as before until last week.

Last week he was itching more and more so we took him to the vet. The vet had us try changing the chlorotripilon for Bendryl for several days and to switch dog foods (already on lamb and rice).

About 3 days later we went back to the vets becuase Jax showed signs of an infection in his ear and had about a 1.5"
round soar on his tail. The vet put him on an antibiotic for the ear stating it was a bad yeast infection. He also has us cleaning it daily with surgical soap then applying a white liquid to rub deep in there. For the tail he has us cleaning it with the soap as well and putting a white cream on afterwards.

I'm wondering if the vet isn't looking deep enough into the problem. I am afraid these are signs of a greater problem and not individual problems needing quick fixes. Does anyone know what Jax could have wrong with him other then 2 seperate infections?

Also just today there is a new bald soar on Jaxs tail and his infected ear lobe is swollen and warm (after 3 days of treatments). I'm quite worried at this point. Can someone give me some ideas/possibilities to bring up with the vet please.

I have a 6 month old golden retriever and I plan on breeding her with my mothers golden retriever. I have been doing a lot of reading on the subject and this is something I have thought about for years, but I can't seem to come across the information of when they go into heat. I know that it is not advisable to breed in there first heat, but I have a neighor who lets his shepard run unattented, and even though we are always out with her he comes over to our yard and I don't want her caught by hi, I figured if I had a heads up on approximately when to look for the heat, I can figure out some way to keep her safe.
