I've never been thrown out of anywhere for not having a pass. I've got another friend who does the same thing, just walks back like she belongs there. One of my friends used to pretend she had to make a call because she was a doctor and they'd let us back. Nobody ever threw us out of anywhere. We're pretty and polite and people like us.
I never waste time talking to roadies or security people, hoping they would invite me back. I didn't come to see them, LOL. Sometimes they will actively PREVENT you, because they are jealous of the band.
And all of the musicians I know love to hear new music. They sing along to commercials on TV for crying out loud. They just like music. They also love to criticize other music, or even their own sometimes.
It depends how much you like them. If you just want to hit on every band going through town, and kiss and tell, that's a different game. One I don't play. :)
To each her own.
