Couple of things I disagree with on that...

I seriously doubt wearing a wedding ring is going to work to get you backstage. But even if it did, if you are back there because you "snuck" there, you're gonna be on the shitlist real fast when people find out...and they will. Best bet is definately to position yourself by the sound booth and hope one of them invites you back. But let them initiate the conversation. Making eye contact and laughing at the other people who initiate conversations is always a good start. ;)

Secondly...most bands aren't too impressed with people giving them CDs...the majority of them end up in the tourbus microwave. Apparently they spark or something...I have yet to witness this to know if it's true though.

The one thing that people usually seem to like though is art. Guys are always showing off stuff that fans drew for them as long as it's good, ya know?

Bottom line, when you're older (as in legal to drink...lol) music guys like chicks who kind of "know the scene." If you're able to joke with them about inside joke type of stuff, they usually like that more than, "Oh my god!!! What's Trent like!?" That said, chicks who know the scene a little to well make them nervous. ;) Oh oh...is that me??
