Well said, BryonM. In my situation, after nearly two years post discovery with my GIDH, there finally came a day when I told myself enough is enough!

I was stuck in indecision about what to do, but the minute I realized that the stress and pain of it all was destroying my emotional well-being and damaging my health, I knew I had to change my mindset from focusing on what he has done to me to plan a better life for myself. We will soon be separated and moving towards divorce, which he doesn't want, of course.

Like you, I refuse to dwell on the pain and devastation and letting it rule my life. I am worth so much more than that and choose to seek the positives. Not to say I still won't have some 'moments', but posts such as yours give me courage and determination to keep moving forward!!
