{potentially his idea of a joke. he knew few folk who would enjoy the blood-mage trail after cleaning bloodstains from red carpet for weeks on end... plus, few who could stand to be mouthy after a good few weeks of hard servant work... one ear drifting again to check for other sounds, the other remaining focused on Lunatha}
