Today, I received a call from employer that I was terminated due to several write up. Since I started working for this company, I have been written up twice. Those write ups were taken in by me and things has been ok. However, on the May 16, 2005, I my car was hit by a school bus on Route 1 in New Jersey. I suferred a minor injury and s servere pain on the back of neck. during the process of the police investigation, I immediately call my house manager and inform her about the accident and told her that I won't be attending the schedule meeting for the next day and work as well. During the course of the same week, I received a third write ups stating that I did not attend a menitory meeting. I told the executive about why I did come to the meeting, she did not listen to me. two day later, I call the house manager and told her that I was going to be an hour and the half late, because I was going to get some medication for my pain. After getting the med, I went to work. The following day, why I was getting ready for work, the Director call me and said that I was terminated.
In view of the above, I would like to take company to court for personal injustice against and disrespect toward me. Do you think I have a case to sue?
