I was an employee at Xpect discounts for about two years. Things were always fine until a new manager came around and took over. She was very persistent with giving me a hard time on the job. Because of work overloads and high amounts of stress, i would go home every day with chronic back pain and unbearable migraines. Finally, i gave my one week notice because i could not tolerate it tanymore. On my last day of work, which was july 28, 2006, i showed up for work but was a little bit late. My manager that i constantly have problems with told me just to go home and would not honor my personal days that i was put in for during my lastt week, which was 24 hrs of time. She was over on payroll and i feel she was just using me to save some hours. On my way out the door she said "Oh yeah, Crystal, do something with yourself would ya. Your a waste". Is there any kind of action i can take? I already tried to call the hotline for xpect and noone picked up. I also called payroll and they said they're not getting involved and hung up on me.
