Author: Mali
Subject: She raised a brow at her friend's words and then let herself all the way into the apartment, dressed in a similar fashion. No, things for Aly worked out pretty even - Charlie was nearly through paying his father off what he owed him and they would have a fairly financial worry-free life as he could stay at the office as long as he wanted to and make as much money as he wanted to - he worked regular hours, but she didn't resent her friend for it even one second. "Hey bun." She made her way in and gave her friend a hug -- "Char told me what was up... that and your mom told my mom who casually brought it up in conversation. Our moms are worse gossips now than we are."

  • She returned her best friends hug in a heartfelt manner- she really needed it- though she kept her foamy hands away from her as she hugged her. "I think our moms have always been worse gossipers than we have. You want breakfast?" Whenever Aly wasn't at school and Mali had the baby sitter in she always made her breakfast. The worktop was scattered with Sears catalogs and pricey speciality baby company catalogues that Charlies mother had enthusiastically brought over the previous night when they had come over to 'celebrate' and had announced they wanted to help them out 'starting their family'. She appreciated it but she was really trying hard not to think about it too much. (NT) -- Aly, 11:35:20 05/17/06 Wed
