Author: Aly
Subject: She returned her best friends hug in a heartfelt manner- she really needed it- though she kept her foamy hands away from her as she hugged her. "I think our moms have always been worse gossipers than we have. You want breakfast?" Whenever Aly wasn't at school and Mali had the baby sitter in she always made her breakfast. The worktop was scattered with Sears catalogs and pricey speciality baby company catalogues that Charlies mother had enthusiastically brought over the previous night when they had come over to 'celebrate' and had announced they wanted to help them out 'starting their family'. She appreciated it but she was really trying hard not to think about it too much.

  • "Of course, who could turn down one of your breakfasts?" She occasionally brought Isaiah over, but she had definitely decided that this morning would not be an optimal time to bring a squalling baby into the home of someone who wasn't entirely sure they wanted to have a baby. She slid herself onto a counter stool at the island and rested her elbows on the table top, sliding one of the catalogues over to land in front of her and shaking her head at some of the outrageous prices, and ridiculously over the top "styles" for babies. "Bellucci's been here?" She grinned a little, she had come to know Charlie's family a little bit over the time that her friend had been with him and she knew enough to know that they were big fans of lavishing people -- they had even sent her a big basket of babythings when Isaiah was born.
