Mixing the knife review with adventure in an article is a fantastic idea that the knife and gun magazines should adopt more often.I have read only a few articles that contain this natural combination but none are better than the Keating Gold article in FK magazine. It seems most every article on knives and guns these days are obsessed with technical specifications and testing procedures that often ignore what the weapon/tool was designed to do.There is nothing more frustrating than reading an article on a fighting knife only to discover that the author has tested it as a kitchen or camp knife.I look forward to reading your adventure/knife review articles Mr. Keating.Thank you for all your hard work in making Maajak World so entertaining and informative.
