Subject: 2001 Taurus SES Water Leak, passanger floor area

I was wondering if anyone has had trouble with a water leak during heavy rain on a 2001 Taurus SES 3.0 Vulcan Engine.

The dealer has looked at it two times. They modified the fresh air intake thinking water was overflowing into the heater box and onto the floor. This did not help.

My Dad thinks it is coming in from somewhere else.

The vehicle is my dad's car, He lives in NYS and I live in Florida so I can not look at it myself.

Anyone seen this before.

NOTE: The vehicle is parked on a level driveway.

Barry
