I have an answer for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I suffered with this problem for almost over a whole YEAR!
THE ULTIMATE ANSWER WE ALL HAVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR IS NONE OTHER THAN:
TO REPLACE YOUR "IGNITION SWITCH"!!!!!!!!
(ford motorcraft part price est. $40.00!
ITS JUST BAD CONTACTS IS WHAT I'VE FOUND.
The linclon dealer in Detroit, MI could not figure it out, nor could the dealer in Tampa, FL when i moved and shipped it down. A friend recomended that i see a small electrical shop he knows that specializes only in auto elecrical!
Not only does the power steering which is a major noticeable problem and a driving hazard too, but the stereo, radio, windows, ext. lamps, all of the cars accessories except the engine stops for a split second then works again. The steering is majorly noticable due to it not working again, a circuit that does not come back on due to it being a big physcial mechanic device. Replacing your ignition switch, a simple inexpensive with labor about 150 total, will solve your problem!
Raul,
