Subject: Hill Climbs

About a dozen years ago the club decided that a hill climb was not a healthy event for vets. Hilly TT's maybe where a rider has a bit of flat to warmup before going into the strain of climbing. Makara hill may be only two and a half ks but it is a pretty tough two and a half ks. I would then reccomend that a race to the beach and back would be kinder to the heart rate , one that I would be more inclind to bring a friend to. After all, I have enough enemies. The Makara hill for one.
