Similar thing was crossing my mind. It's like..

"I don't know who that guy in the white pajama's is, but I don't know what you guys are complaining about his head sculpt is awesome!!!"

I mean you don't need to know anything about the property of a figure to buy it, by all means if more people want to support a line the better. But when like SOTA is taking all this input I hope they ignore things like that.

"Hey SOTA Those figures fuggin raw3k!! Those Road Warrior figures r cuul. But I think the guy in white needs like a Uzi, and he should like have a half cyborg face. That would make it cuuler".

It's not just with SF, it's a pretty much crosses over to everything. I see a similar thing with Marvel Legends, I remember one guy complaining cause the new wolverine "is short and out of scale". I remember when The Kaiyodo Evangelion figures were coming out I'd read stuff on the spawn board from people who'd buy the figures and had no clue there was even a series related to the toys, wanting kaiyodo to make like a Green Eva Unit.

The customizing thing is another thing, I feel sorry for companies some times. Like they put all this work and energy into an action figure and they reveal on-line, and like one of the first comments is "Hey I think I'll sand that down and make Bob Saget custom!". Thats gotta hurt. I'm not saying people shouldn't customize things, I'm a customizer myself. But I think it's just more polite to maybe wait a day or two before you announce you'll destroy the figure the sculptors put all that effort into.
