What I didn't like about them was that the message was so negative that it seemed to preclude any type of improvement through living and believing in a higher standard. LofTF to me was a metaphor for a concentration
camp experience.

But there were people who went through that and had a positive experience because of their faith. When you strip the belief, existence or teaching of a higher Being
with a much greater purpose, you usually have despair
and anarchy.

It goes back to choices people make, because we are here to act, not be acted upon. To be acted upon means that we lose our agency, our power to choose to be good or evil, even with limited understanding, because everyone is born with the Spirit of Christ.

I will have to go and reread those books. There might be something I overlooked...and I hate it when I misspell words like 'privilege.'
