Recovery from encounter w'th young colt is slow. Yet she does recover, and moves back t' group. Whispered words spoken t' *Raya: "I must speak with you -- alone." Serious appearance is noted; th' two move off together.

At last, fear is allowed t' show, out of sight of th' twins and stallion. "There's something I need to tell you about your son," she blurts, and then spills th' story, not stopping for fear 'f losing her nerve.

*Raya listens in silence, and then speaks at th' end: "What is it you're trying to say?"

"That he's evil." Too scared, is she, t' be tactful. "He's a blackblood, through and through."

"That's ridiculous!" *Raya bursts out, angered and a little fearful -- for she has seen it, too, and a small part of her insists that it's real. "You're prejudiced! You're prejudiced against blackbloods -- all of them! Just like the rest of the silverbloods! All of you are wrong! Blackbloods aren't evil -- I lived among them for years! They're innocent! Completely innocent!"

Almase loses her temper at this. "Prejudiced?!" she exclaims, outraged. "Might I remind you that I was looking for you when I encountered blackbloods? That I was LOOKING for a creature which for all I knew was a blackblood? You call that prejudiced?!"

"I call proclaiming Sombra evil just because he's blackblood prejudiced!"

"That is NOT my reason!"

"Yes it is! All about a look in his eyes..." Turning, *Raya storms away, ignoring that small part of her which takes Almase's side.
