Almase watches *Raya go after Midnight In Montgomery, and then her eyes turn to Skajira, then when he is gone, at River Heart. With a nod of agreement, she comments idly, "Sometime we're going to have to teach them to respect our territories and keep out when there's no battle."

Practically, Dirayat points out, "We pass through theirs all the time."

Bayda nods, agreeing with Dirayat.

Almase looks in the direction in which Midnight In Montgomery and *Raya went. "Poor *Raya." Her voice is soft, barely audible. "So much has happened to her. For the longest time she thought she was a blackblood, the only ever known to have refused the blood fed to her." With a smile, though it's a sad smile, Almase adds, "Now she knows better, of course."
