Eep. Bad post. Too much speech, too little description. I thought I had replied already, but apparently I hadn’t, so… It’s a bit hard, since this started before the bonding or anything, but I managed to work Ari into it pretty well. Let’s just pretend that training hasn’t started yet, alright?

As the piece finally wound to a close, Rhowe’non paused briefly, her eyes still closed, to stretch her now cramping fingers. If only playing didn’t tire my tree-climbing callused hands so, I doubt that I would ever stop, she thought in moderate amusement, then suddenly snapped back into the real world with a feeling of slight panic at the sound of the applause. Yet upon opening her eyes, she immediately recognized who it was, and let out a sigh of relief. It was Davni the Seer and Afon, her bonded. Smiling lightly, she stepped off of the platform and wound her way around the tables to greet the white-clad woman, still holding onto her carefully polished, beloved instrument. She sat down at a bench near them, already knowing that Davni would know where she was sitting, and spoke quietly, though warmly.

"Greetings Davni, Afon. And how has the day treated you thus far?"

As before, there was something like tangible calm radiating from the Seer, and from her bonded as well, although slightly less in Afon’s case. Rhowe’non felt herself relaxing further, though her nerves were still slightly tense from the startlement. As she waited for a reply, she carefully cleaned her piccolo, sending a cautious mind-probe in the direction of her bonded resting in the sun outdoors to see if she was awake.

.:Ari? You awake?:.
^:I am now, no thanks to you.:^
.:Sorry.:.
^:’tis alright.:^
.:Davni and Afon are here, why don’t you come say hello?:.
^:Really?:^

A moment later, the silvery gray head of the young Wytti poked through the "doorway" in the trees, soon followed by the rest of her. Ariannaid made her way over to the seeress and her bonded, casting a glance in the direction of the boy in the corner.

^:He’s sad, Rhowen.:^
.:How do you know?:.
^:Just look at him, the poor boy. Why don’t you invite him over here? It might cheer him up a bit.:^
.:If you say so…:.

Shrugging the moderate surge of antisocial nerves at the thought of a strange member of her kind, she turned to Davni. "Just a moment. There is someone over there – Ari thought he looked sad, and suggested we ask him to join us. If you don’t mind, I will do so, and be right back."

So saying, she rose and walked over to the forlorn male, and spoke softly. "Pardon me, but I saw you sitting here all by yourself… My name is Rhowe’non. Would you like to come sit with Davni, Ariannaid, Afon, and myself?"
