Hi Gina, glad you found us and found the info you were looking for. As for your girl, you don't specifically say how old she is but we know she's at least 6 from your post. My guess it could be something age (or hormonal - is she spayed) related. Have you noticed that she's putting on weight (or losing), anything out of the ordinary there? Do you keep jammies on her all the time? Sometimes this can be a cause. The yogurt/honey is about the consistency of a cold cream product (like Ponds). Like I said, I basically mix it 2/3 yogurt to 1/3 honey. So if you use 3 tbsp of yogurt, just use 1 tbsp of honey. Generally, by using this mixture and leaving it on for 5 min. or so, when you use the buff puff (or similar product) you will literally see the blackheads coming off. The deeper seated ones will take repeated use. The yogurt is a natural exfoliant/hydroxy and the honey is a natural antibacterial agent. The olive oil will further bring the blackheads to the surface and you can literally just scrape them off with you fingernail (or washcloth is more adviseable).

I believe the shampoo to which you are referring is Keratolux. Unless your kids suffer from the pearly cysts (or other acne related problems), then I'd say just stick with what's been working for you. You don't need to bathe them weekly, especially if you're in an area where it's cold. My HL dogs get bathed every 2-3 weeks in the winter months, more in the summer. My puffs about every 3-4 weeks in the winter (unless they roll in something oogie). By bathing so often, you can strip them of their natural oils which can lead to other skin issues.

Hope this clarifies a bit for you. Oh, and it's Ms. McCartney.
